23.1 Objectives

In this laboratory, you will use models and diagrams to study the anatomy of the female reproductive system.

By the end of this lab session, you will be able to:

  • Identify the general functions of the female reproductive tract.
  • Identify and describe the structures and functions that contribute to the female reproductive system. You will have to identify each in a model, diagram, or in a specimen.
  • List and describe the hormones regulating the production of the ovum and identify their origin.
